Omanu Polar Plunge

The Mount College polar plunge was held this morning, Wednesday 19th June, at Omanu Surf Club this morning to raise money for the Leukeamia and Blood Cancer Foundation. The event is held in memory of Jed Roberts who died from leukaemia while attending the college.

Everyone was into the water just on dawn, around 7.15. It was just as cold as it looks, so good on you brave tough students, staff and supporters. Hayden Burns from international department was spotted coming out of the surf. There were many others there.
